Acunetix Vulnerability Scanner

Acunetix vulnerability scanner is a tool for protection of your system by optimizing the security holes in your system and preventing the other attackers from illicit access to your system by abusing those security holes of your system as well as data present in your system. These scanners check multiple vulnerabilities in your system, look after the processes like cross site scripting, SQL injection and also checks the weaker passwords so that it can ensure the optimum security solution.

Acunetix vulnerability scanner can also be used for scanning the website and application utilities for vulnerability. Then it uses the penetration testing for the issues which are already identified. Once the vulnerability is explored, then the mitigation suggested for every weak sector and hence the suggestions are used to increase the security for the website and also the applications which are just tested.

The Micro Solved Inc used the Acunetix vulnerability scanner in case of testing the actual vulnerability while the website is in real world and quite open to the attackers by the Penetration testing. The scanning process was made by a group of experts, having a vast experience in penetration testing and also with the required tools. In time of testing, the experts assessed to multiple websites and penetration input were provided at the time of review.

Acunetix vulnerability scanner is easy and straight forward to install. It has automatic updating that is already built in to the program. Once it is finished updating it does not require any restart. The scanner divides the task by function and works very quickly and efficiently. The scanner is able to check the cross site scripting and SQL injection. It has a spider feature that crawls the website and presents a hierarchical view of the site structure.

Acunetix is already a strong product, but with some minor additions, it could be more improved to make it undisputed one. The interface could use a few tweaks, especially in the HTTP fuzzer. Though it is very much user friendly and easy to use, additionally a timed out feature and multiple threads would be welcome.
