Saving Money On Affordable, Second-Hand Golf Balls

By Allisa Bennet

If you ask an old golf player, he will tell you the secret that it is always advantageous to play with used golf balls rather than new, for older the golf ball, the better it behaves . Just like older the wine gets the tastier it feels, so is it with used golf balls.

Look at the cost advantage factor which is most important. The used golf balls cost much lesser compared to the new golf balls naturally. Besides the cost advantage they also give you better practice and performance. So why not settle for used golf ball.

You can buy a huge lot of used golf ball at rock bottom price and use it for learning the game and practicing. Normally during the tournaments you can get them just outside the course where they give you cheaper deals.

If you are buying a few numbers, the seller is quite likely to throw in a few extras too. All the balls will always be in good condition and suitable to be used. They are all used but sparingly used and hence as good as new.

Depending upon their condition and quality the sellers group them and grade them. Therefore you have the A , AA as well as A+ grade lots with varying prices. Depending upon your level of practice you can choose the one that works for you.

If you are a beginner in golf, then it is better for you to choose the cheapest lot and take it for practice. Whichever lot you decide to buy, they will still be cheaper than the rates in the market and for the new golf ball.

Many sellers also sell the all the grades combined into one lot and price it at an average price. This is also beneficial for you, if you happen to come across such a sale.

As an amateur who is learning you are likely to lose quite a few golf balls with your hits. This is quite common occurrence with everyone when one is learning the game. Therefore when you buy a cheap lot of used golf balls, you do not have to worry about how many balls you lost and can still afford to buy another lot and keep practicing.
