Perhaps you were in such a situation where you had the phone camera with you but forgot its utility and missed some great shots that might have been taken. Yes, it may happen sometimes if we are not aware of the utility of the built in camera that we carry in the small device.

The ability of cell phone cameras have improved so fast that a present day average phone camera can work much better than an expensive one from some years back. You can get the high end 10-12 mega pixels just in your pocket. As a result people are enjoying awesome image quality with convenience of use and money.

You don't need to be worried about buying an expensive high end product to get standard quality images. You may feel assured that an average phone camera can give you decent images. You will be able to enlarge the images for display.

When portability becomes a feature of any device, you can use it more and more. This is what happens with the phone camera which is also easy to use. Why not try one?

However, these phone cameras may come with some limitations. For example, the focus of the wide lens may not be controlled at all. Moreover, some aspects of image control may not be present.

You may find the facility of digital zoom with some phone cameras but you may decide not to se the facility as using that zoom may lower the image quality. You can readjust your position then.

However, if the phone camera has a built in optical zoom instead of digital zoom, you can use that. This optical zoom will not power the quality of the images. We can just remember this without any further explanation.

Although the image quality will vary depending on different lenses used in the camera, you do not need to think too much about it. In fact, these camera phones would serve you well in most situations.
